1982 L88 hood on 1969

I have a friend who has a 1969 corvette without the wiper door. He has a chance to buy a L88 hood that was on a 1982. Will it fit? Thanks Don

Physically, it will probably fit, but be aware the hood latch hardware changed on the later cars.

Fenders are different shape. The 82 hood will not match the contours of the 69 fenders.
