Am I Nuts
I need a reality check, I bought a 74 Flame Orange StingRay with 104K for $5800. Then put another 1K into mechanical repairs & now another 1K in replacing the interior, Granted it's a family project & everyone enjoys working on it. That it it self is worth a lot, but if I wanted to sell it. How much would it be worth when it is complete.

You will never get out of it what you put into it $ wise (not talking about the fun :) ) unless you find some moron with his money loose in his wallet, don't think about the $$, just have fun with the car.

return on the money sharks would be chrome bumpered, big block or be LT-1's. those cars you could possibly get your money back on and/ or break even. i bought my 79 for $9K and have put in $7K in 6 yrs, and i won't get it back, but it is my hobby. i doubt i get my money out of it when or if i sell it, but chances are when it is sold i'll be in the great beyond.
