Yes, I've done the swap. For the c3 vette, you need to use the c4 Corvette accessories that you mentioned, will fit with no issues at all... the fbody accessories is not worth using as there is way more work to do.

IM if you have any other issues/questions. Happy to help

I did an L98 swap with a C4, 88-91 serp drive back in '95 when I bought the car.....maybe a decade later I put on an LT1 intake and run it with HEI up top in back the way GOD intended, because sparks and water don't mix.....a buddy is a pro welder and so he did the job of welding up the intake from parts/sections I supplied.....see pix below.....

That's all great for you, but that accessory drive that fits a L98 won't work on a LT1 regardless of your hacked-up LT1 intake install. None of the factory serpentine accessory bracket setups that drive a water pump will directly work without modifications since you have to both not drive the WP and go around the WP on the LT1.

The C4 accessory setup is the one to use. Otherwise try and find brackets to piece together mounting for each accessory.

My pix not show so great, but there is a 'remote thermostat housing' hung on back of the rad/fan assy....two pipes were fitted to the front of the manifold, and hoses run to the remote housing, 3/4 inch hoses.....the back of the install has two small outlets that go into a T fitting and continue up front, like to mimic an L98 install.....I kept the L98 heads, and of course redrilled the manifold holes as necessary to re direct the bolt angles....

I've seen how that intake swap is done and the measures (pain) needed to make it work. It's all useless info for the OP since it's not what he's doing.

Than it has to be a complete LT1 install including the optispark, I presume....I went the route I did because of various other issues, witch I will not bother to type 6 pages to esplain......involved much silliness.....

but WTF, it's a hobby car anyway.....
