I have to put the '74 into storage tomorrow :cry I need to know what to do besides the basics like disconnecting the battery, cracking the windows, and taking out the floor mats. What else should I do? I have a cover, should I put it on?
Mouse poison, I like Decon. :smash: This type of poison makes them look for water before they "expire".
Lightly stuff rags into your exhaust pipes, keeps the critters from finding a "Home"
I spray "Defogger" ( light oil in an aerosol can) into the running motor until it smokes like mad or stalls. :yesnod: In the spring when you start it, the oil burns off quickly. It will NOT foul your plugs.

The local farmers used this on there gas engine tractors also.
It can be found at automotive supply, hardware stores and at boat dealers. It'll probably cost more at a marina, because"it's for a boat" but it's the same stuff.
Well, my God-Daughter was over and the Forum, my needs for storage tomorrow, the kiddies at the door and her need for cake got a little mixed up. Real multi-tasking tonight ;) .
