Repair manuals electronically saved
Does anyone have any C3 Dealer repair manuals saved in an electronic format that I could either talk you out of a copy or buy a copy of ? My father in law gave us his 79 L82 Corvette this last weekend. It had been sitting for the last 7 years and we got it up and running yesterday. We have drained the tank and all of the other fluids. It ended up being a fuel pump that had gone out on it, but I had a career ending back injury a week before it happened and he was not willing to let anyone else work on it. LOL The car has 36K original miles on it. It is Black with Leather Oyster interior and it is also a 4 speed car.
This is our second Vette. We also have a 1985 C4 with a 1970 LT1 stuffed down in it with a 700R4 behind it. I wish the 85 had a better tranny, but that will come in time.
Anyway when we got our C4 last year a member in the C4 area had the dealer repair manual for my car electronically saved. I bought a copy of it from him and I am trying to find the same thing for our 79.
