can anyone tell me where the wires go on the alternator after its plug in its a 1977.. 350 do they go to the charging gage or ????? ..where Thank you for your time

2 small wires ultimately go to the gauge. not sure about stops along the way.
1 big wire from the (-) goes to ground
1 big wire from the (+) goes to the starter.

Well, that's how my 74 run at least.
