Default Need 1971 headlight advise

I took my 71 coup's headlights completely apart 25 years (along with everything else)or so ago with the intentions of restoring the whole car.
I have since then sold the car to my friend, the only local body man I would have ever trusted to restore it. With
this said he's ready to reassemble the headlight mechanisms, and I have no clue where to start. Is there anyone
out there that restores these units? We have all of the pieces. Good advise appreciated.

when you say restore do you mean just reassemble? If so, use the 71 AIM to see how it goes together.

I'd buy the CD also for use on your computer.

Here's a bunch of pictures I took when putting mine back together along with some of the details, maybe pass it along
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-forward.html

Let me point out an often missed part, the headlight buckets are different, there is a letter stamped on each (ABCD) and the don't go in that order and it does matter
Looking at the front of the car the order is C B D A from left to right
M
