Default 1969 Wiring - Dangling Wire?

Pulling the carpet and seats out of my '69 and found this light blue wire cut and not capped... literally just hanging there...

I have the wiring diagram but I'm not very good at reading it and there's about 12 things this might be. Any guidance would be appreciated!

on my 72 there is a light blue wire on the door ajar switches which is right where that wire is located, I would suspect that might be it

That makes sense and the wiring diagram seems to agree but the door ajar lights all work. Strange.

I don't list any other light blue in the rear wiring harness (basically from the door sill back) on my 72 wiring schematic
Do both door ajar switches work?

That wire should go to the door switch right along with the black wire next to it. Both door ajar switches use a light blue and black wires.
