rear compartment frame
How is the 3 door rear compartment frame held into place in my 69. Does the rear carpet go under the frame or up to the edge. Cant see any screws that are holding frame down

I guess this is for me to answer. The main (large) frame is held in place by (9) chrome screws that are located under the doors in the hinge area. Three in each hinge. These screw look like they hold the hinges on but they don't. Each hinge is held in place by two rivets. You will also have five (5) black screws in the front of the main frame next to the door strickers. These screws will be hidden under the foam battery seal on the driver side.
