Ive got a great side pic of a 70-72 with Z06 non-chrome rims on it. I'm pretty sure its a photoshop job, but looks pretty real. Someone send an e-mail address and I will send it to you to post it.
Makes me think about doing this to my Black 82, except I would probably go chrome.

I also like the rims on your vette. Ive got the 82 stock rims and going to 17 inchers are the next thing to do.. decisions..decisions..too many to choose from-but thats good

ive been toying with putting the z06 style rims on mine,and that pic really makes me want to do it,but i want them in a deeper dish then straight up and down.

I think there is a company making Z06 'replica' wheels with more traditional backspacings for hot rods/trucks/etc. I'm not sure of the company, but I think I saw an ad in Street Rodder.
