Default getting ready to test the electrical circuits...

The engine and trans are out, as it the entire interior including steering column, dash, carpets... you name it.

I would like to test all the circuits and lights safely while everything is stripped down.

I bring power in through the black spliced to red wire from the horn buzzer ?

Anything I need to be careful for ?

MTIA,

D.

Suggest you put a fuse holder inline with your power lead either in case you screw up testing something, accidentally touch something hot to ground, or if your harness has a dead short in it somewhere.

I'd skip throwing power on it till you do a continuity test first.....

Ha ! Very clever. Of course ! I should have thought of that. That makes a lot of sense.

And you would... go through all the circuits and check for continuity? Any particular order? Anything not to miss... or go hog wild and check everything ?

After following the other suggestions, I'd use a power supply with a digital display and a current limit. You'd be less likely to cook anything, and you can use it to find shorts and other current draws.
