Those vortec heads are way overrated in my book. Get a set of Dart heads or something from summit or speedway motors with a 64 cc chamber you will be close enough to 10-1 compression that you can call it that if you want. Put a set of 1.6 rockers on it . Put another timing set on it advanced 2 degrees and go find somebody that thinks 70's corvettes are slow. Make sure to set up your distributor.
