Currently my wiper washer pump is not working. I added washer fluid, but it still doesn't do anyhing.
The wiper motor is working. Movement is also OK.
Do I have to remove the whole motor with pump, or can I search/fix the problem when it is still in the bay?
Is it possible to remove only the pump part on the motor and test it on a workbench?
What do you guys think is the problem? Maybe there is a common defect with the pump system?
You didn't say what year the car was... but an old trick is to pull the inlet line to the pump... get a gulp of water ... and push it through with your mouth... this will prime the pump... But what year is the car or did I miss something?

So you have two wires to the pump.. one is power the other is ground.. Yellow is power and blue is ground... so verify that you have power on the yellow, then verify that you have a good ground...
If you do.. then you don't have a wire issue... so then pull the feed hose to the pump and like i said above... get a mouth full of water and blow it into the feed hose... if the motor works then great if priming the motor (as above) doesn't work the replace the pump... you can buy this pump by going (I hate it but love it too)... your local parts store... the 1977-1982 pumps were a pretty generic pump that you can buy way cheaper than buying it from me and then paying shipping.. Your local FLAPS should be able to supply you with a replacement.. I'll catch you on something else later..
