Default Corvette Central exhaust

Hi all,

I've got a 77 C3 auto and just bought a Corvette Central Magnaflow exhaust system here. I've managed to fit it but strangely the driver side mid pipe (after the headers) hits the transmission shifter link. It can't move over any more and I can't even tighten up the link braket to the transmission oil pan. It even pushes against the rubber boot which isn't safe. See pics to see what I mean.

I've checked the code on the boxes in case the wrong ine had been sent but the codes match to what they should be.

Anyone seen this before and have any ideas what's going on? It's an expensive upgrade and hoped it'd fit better than this!

My CC exhaust for my 72 (completely different but...) fit very well, did trim a bit to adjust for some clamps I wanted to use but worked out of the box.
Anyway, hard to tell from that angle and I don't know what the rest of the exhaust pipe looks like but to me it looks like it's turned too far up towards the floor in that first picture. Is it possible that it should be rotated down?

I have been searching for dual exhaust for my 75 and every shop says that it won't work because of the size of the 400 transmission. I tell the about the dual systems that I see from all the corvette suppliers and they say thier is no way it will fit around the transmission linkage,

I clicked your link and it says for 350 transmission you have a 400 like mine much bigger.

76 (late?) would have been the change to TH350 trans, that pan looks pretty square as well.

I am corrected I thought 350 th started in 78 but it was 76. So I have no Idea why that won't work.

Thanks for everyone's replies, the pan is the one with the cut away corner like this: https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speed...-Pan,1933.html

So I'm sure it's a TH350.

It's odd as the exhaust is supposed to be designed for this gearbox... No reply from Corvette Central yet, emailed on Saturday.
