Here is a heads up! Manual window cranks hard? Just pull off the window handle and pry out the hard grease left there for window rolling up.The old lube for the window crank was hard as a stone.Use white lithium grease in a tube found at Oreilys auto parts. It is a large tube that can do both window channels and door handles. About $7.00 Quit throwing parts at these cars NOS is the best if you are handy!

I had that issue with my 69.. I started digging for the reason. The old grease- (white lithium) had pretty much turned to stone. I had to chip it out with a screwdriver. Got most of it out and then scrubbed all the parts with solvent and a stainless wire brush. Lubed things back up with dry film lube. No more problem.

Amazing
The same for me the grease was like petrified lard and i spent many hours trying to find why my window was so hard going up and down. I just wanted to let the forum menbers know a lot of situations can be solved quickly .
