Default Carburetor gasket

What is the best thickness for better performance on a rock chester carburetor. Does thickness improve performance?

If you are talking about the gasket between the carburetor and intake manifold, the gasket thickness has no effect on performance. Spacers on a modified car can change the performance characteristics depending on the carburetor and type of intake manifold.

Most use a 1/4" thick in four hole or open.....to insulate heat. The open spacer will flow a tad better upstairs and I believe is what the L-82 came with.
