Default 79 Engine Noise
I just bought a 79 L48 that starts and runs but has been sitting mostly. The engine seems very loud when you rev it but the car has very little power on the road. Like fan noise not muffler.
Is this normal for 79 C3 ?

You could have a few things wrong like a bad cat....however these were super slow stock

Try to turn your clutch fan with the engine off after the it has has ran for a couple minutes. It should turn freely.
