setting body back on frame
the body goes back on the frame level right?
im finally setting the body back on and the front goes right back on the rocker channels are kind of tight
and the rear body is 6'' above the rear body mounts
I used a forklift and straps at the back of the doors and inbetween the front fender and the door, with u-plates on the rocker lip
anybody else have problems like this?

You've got something keeping the rear in the air.

Was the body supported while off? Do door gaps look ok? PM allvettesforme. He will know top of his head how much higher or lower mounts 1-4 should be.

I just got off the phone with a corvette restorer in my area,,his idea was to start pulling the body down to the frame , [sounds scary to me
body was on a dolly, supported under the #2-#3 body mounts, using 2x8's on end [should have spread out the weight]
im going to lift the body this week with the neighbors forklift and body straps,
something's just not right
