Default OBX Header side pipes

Just got done installing OBX stainless steel header side pipes on my 71 Stingray. Love the look & sound, just having a problem trying to figure out how to re-install the rocker panel covers to hide the hardware and frame rails. Just can't seem to find a way for them to fit. Any advice, input, help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Try removing rear wheels and slide rocker forward into place.

What did you trim, the body or the rocker covers?

Rocker covers. They had to be trimmed where pipes come out behind front tires and they also had to be notched at the frame mounting points. Its not noticeable unless your looking for it.

my hookers were the same way, instructions even say to trim

hope you have good luck with the OBX stainless... my camaro pipes had several cracks in the welds after a few days of heat cycling, my guess due to 304 instead of 321 which is what it should have been made from... but at least it's not junk 409
