Exhaust Question for 1969 427
My old aliminized exhaust is looking a little tired and I want to replace it. I know that in ‘68 the big block Corvettes had 2 1/2” exhaust and in ‘69 they went to 2 1/4”. Any reason to not put on a ‘68 system? I searched and didn’t find any discussion on this topic. Seems obvious, but I don’t want to order the wrong thing. Also, is there a preference between the welded systems and the non-welded? I have a 4 speed if that matters and the heat riser has been gutted.
