If you still have that rim you were fixing could you do me a favor?
Can you measure the rim size and back spacing for me? Also do you know for sure if they are 5 X 4 3/4 bolt patterns?
It's the 15x8" factory alloy wheel, of course. Outside diameter is actually 16 3/8". The width is 8 13/16". Back spacing is 4". And yes the five-bolt pattern would be 4 3/4" if you were able to measure from centre of hole across to same. Since they are staggered you cannot do this but if a companion hole were there that would be the size.
Joe, I can't tell you how well the intake was as I put it on and then realized that I had no compression. The engine had stock pistons/rings and the cylinders were 25 over at the top and 5 over at the bottom indicating that Bubba had been there. That's when I went to a stroked 385 and swapped to an RPM air gap. I do have a Torker II manifold and an unidentified holley carb that you can try. See pic below. That's what the engine started as and the manifold and carb are taking up space on the work bench. Rod
