My mechanical fuel pump is making a tapping noise that is driving me nuts. I replaced the pump and push rod to no avail. Now i am thinking of putting in an electric pump as a quick fix.
I don't need a high performance pump, just one which would mimic the output/pressure of the stock mechanical pump
Any idea on where to get a pump and what model to get that would do the trick ( and not put too much of a dent in my wallet )? All i can find is these racing pumps designed to run 1000 hp engines at racing shops. Thats a bit more than i need for my stock 350. . . TIA!
Barry Grant and Holley make some. There are others, I'm sure. There's a Holley electric on my 468. I can take a look at the model # when I get home tonight
