Aftermarket throttle cable installation for Edlebrock carburetor
I am trying to determine the best way to remove my standard throttle cable on my '77 corvette (4 speed) I have installed an Elelbrock AVS 2 carburetor and it requires an after market cable. It all looks so simple until you try to get under the dash. If anyone has done this I would really like to know the ins and out so I don't screw this up.

I just replaced the throttle cable on mine. Its easier if the seat is out, should just be able to push the bushing out of the top of the pedal and cable will come out. Again, a lot easier with the seat out

A new cable mount bracket and a zip tie round the cable at the pedal end worked for me.
