Brake Master Cylinder rebuild?
I found my Master Cyl. leaking during while measuring Valve Cover clearance (I will be putting in a dual 7" Vac. Booster to replace the original 9", no I'm not considering Hydro Boost).
My current (leaking) Master has the Bleeder Screws and the Tuffstuff replacement (came as a set Master/7"Dual Booster) doesn't have the Bleeders.
Here's the question has anyone successfully rebuilt what appears to be a fifty year old M/C (I rebuilt many back in the 80's, but they weren't fifty years old) and if so who did you buy the kit from? (I'd like to keep the Bleeder option).
Thanks

I bought the kit from zip corvette. I also had the unit bored and stainless sleeved. Got that done local .
Good as new now.
I too replaced the original size booster for the same as you, had trouble with the brakes so ended up adding an extra tank in line to hold more vacuum.

Apple Hydraulics can re-sleeve the master cylinder casting for a reasonable price and fast turn around. I would do it again if I ever need to on another vehicle. They can do the whole rebuild if needed but I did that myself.
Hi Dave,
It all depends on the condition of the master cylinder. If it has a good bore, rebuild it. If not just replace it. My 80 Vette I rebuilt the master and all the calipers and all the bores were near perfect. My 75 the master and all the calipers were pitted badly and had to be replaced. You never know until you open them up.
