I am! Rank?? I must be the lowest level since I don't know. I just took the first class so I could dive and get my air tanks filled.

I have been a NAUI certified diver since 1980, I believe my rank is Corporal Captain :D

After the dive boat has dragged the bottom for about an hour at the dive site in search of the wreck, that particular rank entitles you to go down the anchor line, grab the anchor and swim around until you find the wreck and hook the anchor on to it.

Have not done it yet, but plan on it.

First was flying (completed) next is scuba. It has to be a blast.

When i was a kid I would always hang out at the bottom of the 14ft deep-end for as long as possible before comming up for air.

I am also a certified NAUI diver without a rank. Have been since the early 70's.

PADI advanced. But I haven't dived for some time. Damaged my eardrums in Trinidad 100' feet down and that sort of put a damper on my interest.

NAUI certified since 1975. I'm strictly a "shallow depth" pleasure diver these days. If my wife and I are on vacation in some tropical locale....the islands...Florida, etc., we might go diving one day. She's a PADI, also since 1975.....go figure. No more quarries, Atlantic Ocean, etc. for me. Too cold, and I'm too old. :) Chuck

I have also dove the molikini crater. Saw my first sharks there!! Also saw lobster there as well. Another great dive spot is off the coast of British Columbia. Although the water is cold, there is tons to see. Where a dry suit though!

I live in New England so most of the dives are shallow water.
