Re: C3 Divers....scuba that is!! (Maurice)
I have been a NAUI certified diver since 1980, I believe my rank is Corporal Captain :D
After the dive boat has dragged the bottom for about an hour at the dive site in search of the wreck, that particular rank entitles you to go down the anchor line, grab the anchor and swim around until you find the wreck and hook the anchor on to it.
PADI Advanced Open Water here as well, but I don't dive anymore due to inner ear condition. I have some good used scuba gear for sale if anyones interested contact me.
NAUI certified since 1975. I'm strictly a "shallow depth" pleasure diver these days. If my wife and I are on vacation in some tropical locale....the islands...Florida, etc., we might go diving one day. She's a PADI, also since 1975.....go figure. No more quarries, Atlantic Ocean, etc. for me. Too cold, and I'm too old. :) Chuck
I am PADI and my wife is NAUI. I just sent my brother thru PADI so he could dive with us in Maui next year. A driftdive around the backside of Molikini crater is the best I have seen yet  We have been down in Hawaii (Maui,Kuai and the big island),Thailand and mexico.
VERY COOL. I'm Open Water.....with PADI. Took in Belize in Jan 2000. very cool. i'm going for the long haul and getting my dive master. hope to be instructor....and move from this inferno off a winter..( i know inferno is not exactly the right adjective...but you know what i mean). you think mexico is nice, try Belize.....the best!

I have also dove the molikini crater. Saw my first sharks there!! Also saw lobster there as well. Another great dive spot is off the coast of British Columbia. Although the water is cold, there is tons to see. Where a dry suit though!
PADI Master SCUBA Diver. Certified Underwater Photographer, Rescue Diver, Research Diver, Equipment Specialist, Night Diver, and Search and Recovery. Worked for Sheriff's Department Rescue for 7 yrs. Divers do it deeper. :jester
