My power window is stuck down, I posted another thread but couldn't find it anymore.
I dismantled the motor to manually wind the window up ( As per DUBS advice on another thread)
What can I do now? Tried pulling/pushing the motor at the same time to no avail.
Have you tried turning the armature to see if the glass will move with possibly someone pulling up on the glass while you spin the armature. If the gears are stripped you'd think the glass would pull upward, if they are not stripped then grab the big part of the armature and turn it and see what happens. If the teeth on the regulator gear are stripped you may have to pry a bit from the bottom to get one tooth to engage... food for thought.
"fixed" it by pullingthe worm gear/motor out. Once this was out I could move the glass by hand.
I can now manually wind it up and down again by turning the motor. So I'm guessing it was disengaged somehow. Broke the carbon brush holder when pulling the motor cover though, so I'll have to invest in a new motor. But at least I can drive it with my window closed now..
