Ihaven't had the oil pan off and was wandering do L48's have 2 or 4 bolt mains.
BTW Nothng wrong with 2 bolts in street and even mild race applications 0 they are plenty strong.

2 except in rare cases when GM ran out of 2 bolt blocks and substituted 4 - Ive heard that story though never seen an L-48 original motor with 4 bolts.

The original owner of my L48 lived in California - Couldnt buy an L82 new so bought the L82 badges and valve covers instead.
