Default [ebay]ground effects, never seen these before

These might look cool if somebody is going for a custom look, unfortunately the guy won't ship.

Buy yourself a nice triple deck wing while you are at it. Aren't those usually called rocker panels though? :U

I think they look awesome myself. There is a complete ground effects package including front and rear, but I'm only interested in the sides.

They not only look good, they keep the rocks from chipping up the sides! :smash:

I always thought those looked good - especially on later c3's - what about that seller - what a lazy bum - wont ship.

marck, that is one sweet looking '82!  the only thing it is missing is that small wing. (yeah, call me rice  ) seriously, i love blue and that look just rocks. my only concern would be cracking them with a lowered car. :)

I installed the side pieces to stop all the stone damage to my paint . The car is lowered and I have not had any problems hitting anything in two years of driving it . No wings for me !!!!!

Your car is the bomb geo :)

Clutchdust, right click the picture and look at the URL. You'll see who's car it is ;) :D

I hate those little turbo wings too, they're just too much.

You probably mean these wings:

BTW , the skirts are a pia to blend into the rear and front fender flared areas . If you do not have a bit of body work experience it is wise to have them installed by a shop . The over all quality of the pieces was very good and the surface only required minor prep for final painting . Thanx for complement twin !

Ill second that. It took me a whole week to get the whole kit to fit on my car. Things I have learned.
1. cover your arms w/ baby powder before going at it with the dremel tool.
2. Use pantyhose to get the embedded fiberglass out of your skin
3. always wear a resperator
4. Cases of cold beer makes fiberglass taste mmm mmm good

Jeff, love your car too. I never really cared for that turbo hood but it looks killer on your car. I think it's the combination of wheels, skirst, hood and the black paint :)

its actually the original 82 charchol metallic grey color that i repainted it with. I agree that hood does not look good by itself. It needs to be used in combination with the rest of the kit. I considederd a cowl hood but liked the curve that the hood mimiks off the fenders. I still dont like the collector series or turbo wing on any vette.

actually, i like the 'turbo' wing. i guess that is what it is called. that little non-functional job they sell in ecklers and MAD. doesn't stick up that much and the one part of my body style c-3 i was never really crazy over is that big drop off from the back glass and then that huge NASCAR style wind jammer of a spoiler. i always thought the chrome bumper sharks had the best tail and i think that turbo (or whatever it's called) wing kind of fills in that huge dip. BTW, if anybody has one of those gawdawful turbo wings they want to get rid of, just let me know ;)
