They do. Top of each door, inside the upper outer lip. The “whiskers” press through these into the door top openings.

Thank you very much! Checked and fit perfectly. I feel something is missing here.

On a 69 ? Yes there is a heavy duty cast alloy piece that's chrome plated and sits under the centre piece and goes out and down the side curve. It's high enough to form a seal on the Targa top. Also creates a water drain gutter that steers it away from falling inside the cockpit !

Le-Mans blue with bright blue interior coupe , doesn't get much better than that !

mine was the same when it was born .

Here's some of the pieces that go on that area in your picture. Wilcox diagram part number 1 is the chrome piece I was talking about

Ok the Wilcox diagram is for 1970 onwards , the 69 had a stainless steel trim pressed in to a shape but with the back end open.

Here's a bad picture of mine off the car

they are still rivetted onto the centre section .

I am not sure if I have those. It may be a few days before I can look. Thanks for posting the picture. This car has been apart for 30 years. I have moved 4 times. I am really trying to get it back driving.

If you can take some pics from further back and let us have a look at where your at with it , even laying out boxes of parts on a floor and taking pics , would be helpful AND interesting for every body here . Guys here love corvette "join the dots" challenges.

P.S If you do decide to take pics of a heap of pieces ,just stick a bit of masking tape with a number on it , easier to say number 1 goes on there ……. etc.
