Default Front Spindle affinity

So I am ready to put the new springs back in my front end, and the hub spindles have come back from powder coating. I never noticed before (possibly because of the dirt) but near the top of each front spindle is a
stamping one spindle has AL stamped on it and the other has KI on it. Does one go on the driver side and the other on the passenger side? I can't imagine this, but just want to ensure I put them back correctly...

Pretty certain that there is one spindle for both sides so I would think it must just be different casting/manufacturing numbers.
