Default Vert ???

It might be a real stupid question, but what does "Vert" mean when referring to c-3's.

I assumed all Vettes came with headers as both 69's I bought had them. Little did I know that there was a reason. It's probably easier to torch the original manifolds off rather than attempt to change the plugs around those shields that GM put on to keep the wires from roasting. I jacked this latest '74 up every imaginable direction... rolled underneath it the same... and when I had to haul it off to a shop for some work I noted....

"While you are at it.... there's set of spark plugs in the rear compartment... change'em."

I'm getting to old to be a contortionist. Plus, there's no beer holder on the roll around. I bought the stripped down version. :)

Coupe to *Vert* conversion

The only name that bugs me is "roadster". Roadsters don't have roll up windows, convertibles (or cabriolets) do. Joe
