Default 2019 24 hours Le Mans on MotorTrend

FWIW

Seems Motor Trend to broadcast 2019 24 hrs Le Mans this weekend June 15-16

https://racer.com/2019/06/11/motortr...-le-mans-live/

Looks like my MT schedule shows non-stop Le Mans coverage from 0800 Saturday thru 0930 Sunday. YMMV

godspeed Nando

Channel 246 on dish network and 281 on DirecTV. 2 hours into the race . The Corvette cry babies are first in class. They don't do well in prerace competition and get weight added and motor hp restrictions installed on all the competition

Are you saying that the Corvettes sandbag in pre-race competition to gain an unfair advantage in the race?

I know right. Like racers would ever try to skirt the rules to win a race. 😁

I met Didier Theys about 10 years ago, He raced the 24 Hrs of Le Mans. Never a first there but he did make the podium a few times. Here he is giving me a quick lesson in paddle shifting before we all ripped up the back roads in Monterrey. What a blast!

That Belgian guy knows how to drive. Even with an F430 in my hands I had a hard time keeping up with him. Respect!

That picture of you. Are you on the Laguna Seca raceway property? Did that included laps on the race course? Didier was involved with the Ferrari challenge events and he was always hanging around the garages where I worked with our clients as we traveled around. He did coaching and of course the testing for car setups before the events.

That's me behind the wheel. We stayed at the Quail Lodge and had breakfast there before heading out to the back roads for the day. No Laguna Seca track time but plenty of twisties and bumpys. The Lambo Superleggera had an aftermarket exhaust on it and it just WAILED when we got on it hard. Drove a GT-40, Audi R8, and a Maserati that day too. Good times.
