After desperately chasing a vacuum leak I discovered that the elbow connectors of my under dash override switches are leaking. The rubber cases itself are leaking (no obvious cracks or holes).
Any hints or snake oil recipes for sealing them again?
Then put some 3M 08008 on the outside metal pipe... then insert it into the elbow, then put more or the exposed pipe and then insert hose over it. You can't put the glue in the elbow it'll plug up the hose, but if you put it on the hose nipples and then slip it into the elbow and allow it to dry... You should be fine. If not I have a ton of these original connectors laying around here somewhere.
I did a video on how to repair vacuum hoses on the later style cars which will show you, it's on our youtube page and kind of similar to what I've described.
I need 2 of those elbow connectors that you said you had in the post above , mine are cracked, can you advise if you found them and if I can get 2, please.
