Default car won't start
my dad was working on his corvette and he was doing something with the alternator and the positive terminal on it and he turns the power on and smoke came from the passenger side engine bay now when i turn the battery on nothing gets power. anyone know whats wrong?

I'd look at your ground wire to the motor, I think it's right where the smoke is coming from, the passenger side engine bay.

Check the fused links and recheck the alternator. Make sure there are no shorts.

I have Taken apart the alternator to fix the loose bolt and i checked for anything found nothing.

You popped fusible link. At starter or horn relay or both.
