who thinks they know you has the fastest car on the forum, drag and street?
btw i have no idea :D
you cant say merlin either, his car doesnt run yet, and monty doesn't have any track time to prove his car

probably this one; 7.30 @ 187.9 mph..... but are you asking fasted 1/4 mile et? fastest trap speed in 1/4 mile, highest top speed on the bonneville salt flats? MJ

This is a unfair question. What are you looking for? If it is strictly a drag car then maybe that 7.30 is the answer. But if you are looking for an all around car, one that can take the wife for a confortable afternoon drive to the beach, or saturday night to the strip where it will run some fast time, or taken to the salt flats and run fast then I feel Monty's car is the fastest.
He will get decent gas mileage, comfortable ride for his wife and new arrival, no overheating problems, no excess noise and yet put a set of slicks on it and it will be a killer. It could also run fast flat out.
He has the power, the knowledge of his car, the automatic which I feel is the way to go.
For all around fastest car, or something that I would like to drive I vote for Monty.
While Steve's might put out more brute power with the stick it will be too violent and his knowledge to overcome small problems is not as extensive as Monty.

I must agree wit Norval here. While some purpose built drag cars may be faster than others in drag to top speed or vs versus, Monty's car has to be the fastest street driven car here at least in the C3 forum. Not sure what lurks in the other sections, but Monty's car is pure perfection in engineering and exacution :yesnod: .
