has anyone purchased the GM sound? Is the quitter to quite? and the loud is it really loud?

People have commented on here before that the loud is pretty danged loud, but I’ve never read comments about the quiet.

No first hand experience though.

I have two sets of Allen's Chambered exhaust systems on two Corvettes. They mean loud when they say loud. My chambered exhaust goes out the rear but sounds like side-pipes just coming out the back.

Out of the options of Quiet and GM style I would choose the "GM sound" if you like the noise level of the factory side-pipes.

The quality of the systems that Allen's makes is impressive. I bought my first system in 1993 for my C3 and the C4 cat back system was purchased in 1999 or so. Both cars are still wearing the systems and they still sound great!

My age would make me go towards the quieter system, The problem is that a Corvette should sound like a Corvette!

Best regards,
Chris

I had them, they are loud and didn't sound good to me. I couldn't give them away.
