Default 68 top fender trim

i,m fitting pieces together to restore a 68 vette..wiper door...both trim pieces on the top of front fender next to wiper door seem to be too short...do different years have different lengths? they seem to be about an inch short to reach windshield molding..I know they don,t touch but they seem to be really short...what am I missing here

The 68 trim was one year only. The fit is not exact, but they should not appear to be an inch short. Post a pic of what you've run up against.

Looks normal for these cars !
Both sides look similar

Also there's probably no 2 vettes look exactly the same in that particular corner !

Maybe if some 68 owners could post some pics for comparison ?

Nope. Doesn't look right. Aligns flush with the fender/door edge on my 68. Best pic I have readily available. If you want a better view just say so. Yours appear way too short.

I’d be happy to measure them, but my car is at the body shop getting painted. I believe that I bought them from Willcox Corvette.
