I have a ‘72 small block with an auto trans. I pulled up the shifter plate to change a bulb and found this. Apparently Bubba doesn’t like yellow wires. Anyone know where it’s supposed to go?

Just a guess- you have (had) an aftermarket radio and that yellow wire is being used ( or was used) as a constant power source.

It does have an aftermarket radio (and the bezel looks like it’s been hacked). I’ll have to check that out. Thanks Richard
