Summit harmonic balancer is thinner than oem.
Might need to extend your timing tab/pointer forward a bit.
Do this Now ... scribe a line through centerline of hub outward to edge of outer ring ...
... that'll be your reference when periodically checking for outer ring-rubber slippage.
Also, verify piston at True TDC with a piston stop ... then verify the damper's mark agrees at zero/TDC ... relationship of keyway to mark varied over years.
FWIW ... me & nearly everybody ran about 4 1/2 lb early-type sbc dampers on regional circletrack 355 ... with light clutchpak ...
... my drivers could manage touchier accel-decel and resulting tendancy to wheelspin-hop when gassing up while still in a turn ...
... but, depending on application, lighter is not Always better. If it were, all cars would come OE with a two-pound piece.
