C3 a\c coppressor replacement
Looking for a write up or video of steps to replace an a\c compressor on a c3, especially a 1977 L-82. Seen a few on youtube but not real complete.

Hi Jimbo,
If you're asking about the basic compressor R&R it is a very straight forward nuts and bolts kind of job. However, if your system still holds a charge the work is a little more involved. Can you clarify please?

Kind of a preemptive strike. Still works but compressor is starting to make a lot of noise. Want to replace on my terms not the cars. Have the expansion valve setup not the orifice tube.
