I’m getting ready to install the Borgeson power steering in my big block 69 build. I’m changing out the idler arm and the new Moog doesn’t have the same angle drop as the factory. It looks like it ends up the same height but goes straight where the OEM one goes at an angle. Just worried about any clearance or steering problems before I get into it. Is there another new idler arm that matches the original or am I just over thinking it??
When I replaced mine it was the same deal.Works the same no interference on my sbc.
Thanks! Hopefully the same holds true on the big block. Putting them on top of each other the top and bottoms look to be in the same place just the the original bends around and down to get there. Was wondering if it was doing so to clear something I’m not thinking of.
