76 with mini starter.
Does anyone know the proper wiring for a mini stater on a sm block 76? I connected it the same as the factory and when I hooked the ground up it started cranking. And yes the small wire is connected properly to the solenoid..

Starter Solenoid connections for GM w/ HEI distributor:
large M stud connects Directly to Motor housing ... this connection made at Starter factory ... nothing else connects here
small S stud/terminal connects to switch
large B stud connects Directly to Battery's + pos post
* No Ground or Negative connects to solenoid ... None *
* Battery's - neg post connects Directly to frame/chassis ground *
