Default Hydroboost question

So I don't really know what to think about this. I bought a rebuilt hydroboost, a rebuilt pump, and I rebuilt my own control valve and a new willwod master. Here's the problem. I'm getting brake power, but it's not locking up the wheels. It stops the car, but not as quickly as I should. The weird part is, I could cut the wheel and with the pressures on the brake, I can get more brake power. But, when it's going straight, I'm not getting strong braking. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have air in the system, did you bleed it?

I thought I did. If that's all that would be great. How much do I have to bleed it? Have any tricks?

I would assume you turned the wheels full right to full left a few times, and hit the brakes several times, I happen to have a serp drive on my 350 engine, and a rack steering setup that preceded the HB install, I just used a T fitting in the return line to the canister on the frame, the one on a V belt drive would of course be on the pump.....same diff.....

Jack the front wheels up and turn left / right full lock at least 30 times...the hydroboost systems take a while to bleed as they sit higher than the pump so you really have to work to get all the air out.
