fuse box removal issue
I've taken out the two screws inside the car, but when i try to loosen the screw on the engine side, it just turns and turns, but the fuse box won't come out. Any ideas? This is on an 81

Which wires? I am trying to track down a short on my wiper circuit. The wire going from the fuse to the flasher looks perfectly fine, and the other wire goes to the connector that attaches to the firewall (engine side). It is hard to see much down there, but if the short isn't on the connector I am lost. Is there something I should look for in the connector?
