Frontlight covers closing late

Frontlight covers closing late
Hi guys
i noticed that the lefthand frontlight cover closes was left open when i bturned off the engin, in a second try it closed when i gave the engin a bit of trottle .
The right handed one an in lightcover is usually closing a few second faster.
what i know do wonder is whar this delay can depend of, any suggestions?
The car is a 1969 with 427 , L 36 engin

Funny mines the same way ,maybe its caused by the length of the hose who knows I have all new hoses and I white greased everything and it still does it
