I bought a new Muncie 22 to go behind a 496 in a 76. I have a new lockout cable bracket for the column, but is there a second one for on the tranny itself? The th350 I pulled out had both. Thanks!
69-73 cars with a Muncie used two interlock cable brackets. One was attached to the upper left (driver's) side tail shaft housing bolt, and the second one was attached to a top side cover bolt, if I remember right the center one. 69-75 cars only used the side cover bracket, and did away with the rear one. 76's came with Super T-10's, instead of Muncie's, but I don't recall if they used any cable brackets on the T-10?
The two Muncie cable brackets are available for about $10 each. The forward one just sandwiches the cable to the transmission case, but the rear one needs one of the "Mickey Mouse" parking brake cable clips, to hold the cable in place.
