Hello everyone, new to the corvette forum. Recently bought my uncles '69 Stingray after wanting it since I was a kid. I am doing some basic maintenance like changing fluids in the rear end and trans. There is just one bolt on the passenger side of the transmission and when I tried to remove it, it does not want to loosen up, so I stopped pulling on it and sprayed it with PB blaster and letting it set overnight. My question sounds stupid but I just want to make sure so I don't damage it. Is the bolt right hand thread or left hand? I think it is right handed but just want to make sure. My uncle has had this stingray since it was new and it only has 31K miles on it and I don't want to mess it up.
Thanks for your help.
It's standard right hand thread. My 69 was also in tight so I tapped on the end of the wrench while putting pressure on it just to shock the plug and it came right out.

when ever I get a bolt or plug that doesn't want to come out I tighten it a little(sometimes with a hammer to the wrench) then loosen, that usually works.
