Wheel Vintiques http://www.wheelvintiques.com/ offers ralleys in billet aluminum. They are sharp looking wheels.

my reason for this poll is because i'm considering swapping my alloys with ralleys for 3 reasons:

1. i'm liking the look of the ralleys more and more each time i see them.
2. the car originally had ralleys when it rolled out of the factory.
3. most late model C3s seem to have the alloys and i like being a bit different.

i should have made the poll more specific to 78-82 vettes.

The rallye wheels look best on sharks up to and including '73, but the alloys look good on all sharks. If you decide on aftermarket, I like the TT II wheels best. JMHO.

Personally, I'm in love with ralleys. However, I'm considering buying some TT-IIs. Now THOSE would be sweet! :hat

I prefer alloys on rubber bumber C3s and ralleys on chrome bumber ones. JMHO

Ralleys hands down for the chrome bumper vettes! On the later cars, if your car came with them then I'd go with them unless you wanna run with the new cars in the twisties - then I'd go with the 17" TT11s.

Neither ralleys or alloys. what your car needs is oversized 5 spoked wheels. i know the old rally and alloys seem like tradition, but both are hideous. it isn't right to have such a beautiful car tainted with ugly wheels. good wheels are like good shoes-- you wouldn't where a nice 3 piece suit with muddy, torn up tennis shoes, so don't put cheap, ugly wheels on such a beautiful car.

I yanked the alloy wheels and replaced them with the rally's right after I bought this vette. Got to say that Cali's rims are sharp on his C3. Totally depends on everyone's personality... colors... body styles(chome bumpers, mako-shark, rounded rearend). One set of rims would look great on one year and just not fit in on another. I say if you alter the car in appearance go with the flow to make it stick out. If you are wanting to keep the original appearance... stick with what came with it. We can all drive down the street and the cars are appreciated either way with the time that most of the people in this forum take to keep the C3's alive. I took the picture below this last Sunday in a park near my house & had two cars stop while doing it to tell me they thought it was nice looking. It's all an attitude. Great forum!

I have chrome rallys on my 74, don't think it would look good with alloys. Seems like the majority of 74's on this board have rallys.
