I've been looking to replace my aftermarket wiper blades. I found a nice set of classic blades at NAPA for $8.75 a piece. Seems like a good deal compared to most that I have been looking at.
Best tip I ever heard for keeping wiper blades "conditioned", was to wipe them down with a rag wetted with washer fluid each time you wash the car.
Since most of our C3's see little-to-no rain, those rubber blades can tend to dry out and take a set where they remain in their parked position.
Run them every once in a while, and give them a little wet rub-down at every wash and they should be happy, and ready if they ever are called up to do their job!
