1977 Corvette Ignition
Recently got a 1977 C3. I realized you could start the car without a key. So I figured I'd replace the lock cylinder. After installing it, I cant seem to get the key to the lock position and get the key out. Any ideas?

The 77 column has a tab(lever) behind the key switch , you have to push and hold the tab down while turning and removing the key
